My Doherty Project

My experience in Screen Service Broadcasting Technologies starts by developing the first doherty amplifier for UHF broadcasting equipments.

It was a double single-ended narrowband architecture which could be tuned within the UHF band by changing two daughter boards on each pallet as shown into the above picture. Some further infos about this project is reported into a document available HERE.

In order to verify the differences of charactreristics between single-ended and differential doherty architectures a special adaptation of the original SSBT amplifier was designed. Two pictures of this particular implementation are available HERE.

Finally another differential doherty architecture was implemented for SSBT VHF DTV and DAB applications (B-III).

Below is reported a photo of an SSBT 5+1 UHF doherty DVB-T2 system made by using my amplifiers.
