MWTN tone generator and laser AM modulation

In the past some Ericsson people want to modulate a 2.5Gbit/s laser in order to be identifiable without extracting data. This modification has been implemented for the Multi Wavelength Transport Network optical switch made by Ericsson.

In passato la gente dell'Ericsson volevano modulare un laser per 2.5Gbit/s allo scopo di identificarlo senza dover estrarne i dati. Questa modifica è stata implementata per lo switch ottico MWTN realizzato dalla Ericsson.
